Michaela Edwards
President
Hello Alumni,

My purpose as an alumna of Tennessee State University is to connect alumni and potential TSU students in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Alumni Association has been involved in numerous activities for many years such as scholarship fundraisers, community service and networking, and we plan to continue these activities.

The focus for the alumni association is:
-
Increase young alumni engagement
-
Increase community involvement through volunteer activities
-
Participation in student recruitment activities
-
Financial support of scholarships for local new and returning Dallas/Fort Worth students
We can accomplish all of our chapter goals, remembering that Excellence is Our Habit! I look forward to working with all of you.

Victor Jones, Ph. D
Vice President
As the Vice President of the Tennessee State DFW Alumni Chapter, my initial objectives are to support the President, the admin committee, and the chapter with endeavors to move our chapter forward in all capacities. More targeted goals include assisting the president with chapter business, events, and opportunities highlight the chapter, participate in events that provide more awareness to the TSU DFW Alumni Chapter, and seek opportunities to make our Alma Mater, Tennessee State University, stand out as one of the best and brightest HBCUs. Furthermore, I would like to assist with the planning, communication, and correspondence of community outreach opportunities for and through the TSU DFW Alumni Chapter.
Charmin Spencer
Treasurer
My goal as an alumni board member is to be a conduit for former, current, and future Tigers. By serving as treasurer, I will aim to provide a transparent and prompt view of our chapter’s finances while aiding in new innovative ways to raise funds so that our chapter is able to provide scholarships to students. Everything in Excellence!
