Our Mission
Since the formation of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex Alumni Chapter of Tennessee State University Association, graduates are committed to the mission to assist and advance the pursuit of excellence, support local youth that aspire to attend TSU by providing financial assistance, continue the friendships formed at the university, build strong and mutually beneficial ties between the university and our local business community, promote goodwill in the community and create a dynamic alumni program that will stimulate interest, build loyalty, increase involvement and generate support for TSU.

Community Outreach
This committee is responsible for planning community service projects for the chapter; such as North Texas Food Bank, make-A Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army.
Fundraising Committee
This committee plans, organizes, and promotes our fundraising activities as well as solicits donations and contributions from individuals and corporations. Our fundraisers include but are not limited to scholarship jazz brunch, golf tournaments in conjunction with DMBCAA, day parties and other events developed and implemented by the committee for the benefit of the DFW Chapter. Additional social events such as day tour to the local casino, holiday party, football businesses to the TSU classic football games.
Membership Committee
This committee is responsible for welcoming new members, generating new ideas and strategies to recruit new members, and reclaiming previous members. This committee works closely with the Program Committee.
